SunWest Foundation Mission
It is the desire of the Board of Directors and employees of SunWest Credit Union to obtain resources to improve the educational experience for school children. We feel that every child deserves the basic material necessities in school so that their energies can be focused on developing their academic and social skills to their fullest potential.
The SunWest Foundation, a 501c3 organization, was founded by the credit union and its employees. For over 25 years, the SunWest Foundation has been committed to improving the lives of students in our community and has been recognized with awards for our impact. Since its inception, the Foundation has donated more than $150,000 to local students in need.
The Foundation believes that continuing education is also important. To help students achieve their educational and career goals, the Foundation provides scholarships toward tuition at Pueblo Community College and Colorado State University Pueblo.
