As vehicle prices continue to rise, many buyers are opting for longer loan terms and making smaller down payments. This combination can leave you owing more on your loan than your car is actually worth—especially in the early years of ownership. If your vehicle is ever totaled or stolen, your insurance may not cover the full loan balance, leaving you responsible for the remaining amount, known as the “gap.”

That’s where Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) comes in. GAP is a voluntary protection product that can help cover the difference between what your insurance pays and what you still owe on your loan. It’s designed to protect you from unexpected financial loss and give you peace of mind when the unexpected happens.

  • Pay for your loan in one of our branches
  • Pay by mail
  • Pay by phone using a debit card or account number
