Is SunWest's home banking product compatible with Quicken?
Yes. Intuit offers several different services to integrate with financial institutions. Through our online home banking services, we provide the ability to download Web Connect files that you can then manually import into Quicken. SunWest does not provide Direct Connect or Express Web Connect / Quicken Connect access within Quicken.
How do I import my transaction history into Quicken?
- Navigate to the History menu
- Select Download History
- Select the date range for the transactions you wish to import.
- Select either QFX or QIF, depending on your version of Quicken. QFX (WebConnect) files are for versions 2005 and above. QIF files are for older versions of Quicken.
- Click the Continue button
- You should receive a question from your browser asking you to Open or Save the file. Select Open
- Quicken should launch and allow you to import your history.

- Open Quicken
- Click the File menu
- Choose File Import
- Choose Web Connect File
- Click the Continue button
- Select the QIF/QFX file you downloaded from our home banking site to manually import the transactions.
